From Saint and Thought For Every Day,
by Blessed James Alberione
The Good Seed
May the Divine Master be followed by all. For there is a danger: we might listen out of curiosity and then immediately forget; other ideas could come; we could even refuse to hear about Jesus Master or listen just to contradict. There is the parable of the seed which fell on the street, or on rocky ground, or among thorns.... Instead, with the help of divine grace, may an abundance of seed fall upon good ground, so as to produce thirtyfold, sixtyfold, a hundredfold.

A New Heart
Prior to his public ministry, Jesus fasted for forty days, and at the end he was baptized by John. When he came out from the water, the Holy Spirit, in the form of a dove, bathed him with his rays.
May the Holy spirit come down upon us, too, and give us a heart that is chaste, pious, compassionate, meek, humble, generous and strong.
May the Holy Spirit come upon us abundantly with his gifts of faith, hope and love; gifts that strengthen our virtues and fire our zeal. May he give us a new heart, filled with these virtues.
What Strikes Me Most Today
What strikes me most today is the prayer above, "may an abundance of good seed fall upon good ground." Blessed James Alberione advocated all forms of media and social communication to spread the Gospel. I imagine he would love the internet for its potential to sow tremendous amounts of seed in vast areas around the world.
